SalaryONTRAC Group is looking for a high performing trades person for Fabrication & Weld expertise for the manufacture of new earth moving attachments which would include but not limited to the following:
• Must have the ability to read and visualise the project from workshop fabrication drawings and understand the specifications to determine job requirements from the outset
• Carry out steel preparation metal stock
• Assembling pre profiled and formed steel parts to for fabrication - tack welding, dogging, bracing etc
• Carry out full weldout of the project using Mig Fluxcored Welding
In addition to this, attachment repairs and modification are required from time to time and the "figure -it-our" factor is very critical and a much valued trait.
SKILL - The Person or Candidate must be proficient is Metal Fabrication and Flux cored Welding and able to work autonomously in the workplace although part of a greater team reporting back to Workshop Foreman. The Person or Candidate must be able to demonstrate consistent quality workmanship and always striving to improve.
WILL - The Person or Candidate MUST be empowered by an attitude and work ethic the contributes to the team and the good of the organisation. The Person or Candidate must be willing to listen and learn. We hire and fire on Attitude!
Qualifications are not mandatory, experience in heavy steel fabrication and earth moving attachments can be useful
Salary range $70,000 - $80,000
