The selected candidates will play a crucial role in fabricating metal products and components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and specification.Applicant Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, with a proven track record of working with various metals and welding techniques.
• Required to present evidence of qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
• Applicants must provide documentation including references from previous employment, pay slips, a valid passport, and police clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the specifications and requirements of the fabrication process.
• Measure, cut, bend, shape, assemble, and weld metal components to create the final product.
• Utilise a variety of tools and equipment, such as hand tools, welding equipment, and metal fabrication machinery, to perform fabrication tasks.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure fabricated items meet the required standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions to improve fabrication processes and product quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
• Keep accurate records of materials used, fabrication processes undertaken, and the final outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in metal fabrication, evidenced by at least 5 years in the field.
• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with a range of metals.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and management.
