Position Summary:
On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment services is currently seeking self- motivated skilled Manual Machinist to assist in machining services.
The business is an established Australian family-owned manufacturing engineering company based in the Clayton area specialising in providing a wide range of engineering services to a variety of manufacturing industries such as mechanical design & drafting services, manufacturing and design engineering, electrical design & drafting services, steel fabrication and CNC machining. Moreover, it specialises in electrical manufacturing & engineering, Automation Engineering Services, mechatronics engineers and robotics engineering.
Required Skills and Experience:
•AQF Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
•At least 3 years recent relevant work experience
Other preferred qualification:
•Previous and proven job history and references in a similar role
•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
•CNC machining experience advantageous, but not essential
•Recognised trade qualifications and certificates (to be presented upon request)
•Industry knowledge and safe work practices/ OH&S are essential
•Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to work as a part of a team
