OMG Engineering provides a completesolution for mining/exploration, drilling and oil and gas industries.Specialising in drafting, detail design, fabrication, machining and fitting.

We are looking for a full time (with38 hours per week) skilled Metal Machinist (FirstClass) to perform the following duties:

Responsibilities

·        Participate in Manufacturing processes includingGrinding, Linishing, Rolling, Bending, hardening and Tempering.

·        Specialised Tool assembly and BladeManufacturing

·        Fitment,assembly and blank-off/alignment of all plastic injection moulds, stamping dieand high-pressure die casting tools

·        Providetraining and mentorship to toolroom apprentices

·        Readand interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and drawings

·        Adjustmachine settings to achieve the desired product specifications

·        Inspectfinished products for quality and accuracy

·        Troubleshootand resolve problems as they arise

·        Workcollaboratively with team members to optimize production processes and achieveproduction targets

·        Maintaina clean and safe work environment

Requirements

·        The right candidate will have at least 2 yearsof experience

·        Abilityto read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

·        Knowledgeof cutting tools, tool holders, and other machine accessories

·        Good analyticaland problem-solving skills

·        Abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Position: Full Time

Salary: $70,000 – 110,000 per year
