Metal Machinist - Fitter/Machinist - Esperance Western Australia

We have a fabulous opportunity for the right person to join our highly regarded organisation as an experienced Metal Machinist 

This is a permanent position, based in Esperance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE ROLE

• Trade qualified and either based or willing to re locate to Esperance.
• CNC and metal machine experience essential
• Ensure correct materials, methods and settings as per blueprints meets job requisition; 
• Measure parts accurately and regularly check that parts are within tolerance levels required;
• Trouble shooting as required including performing machine maintenance and diagnostics of faults
• Ability to study drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings
• A strong commitment to both personal safety and the safety of others around them.
• An energetic and ”can do” attitude to various tasks and skills.
• Ability to learn to use a variety of tools and machinery.
• Willingness to adapt to different situations.
• An enthusiastic approach to each new challenge.
• The ability to work well within a team, take instructions and learn from others.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Competent computer skills

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• A current driver’s license.
