Microsoft 365 Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Microsoft 365 Engineer for  our large Federal Governement client. In this role, you will play a key part in configuring and implementing the M365 stack. Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining Azure and M365 environments to ensure they perform optimally and provide a secure and seamless user experience.

Initial Contract Duration: 01 May 2024 to 30 June 2025

Extension Term: Up to a maximum of 2 x 12 months extension options

Primary Technologies

• Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Applications Packager, Rapid 7, Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage day-to-day operations of Azure and M365 environments.
• Perform user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management in M365.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure and M365.
• Provide technical support to users.
• Document configurations and procedures for future reference.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and the applicable Information Security Manual controls, or significant experience implementing the Microsoft 365 product suite in a complex ICT environment.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience and knowledge in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints, and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery.
