The M365 Engineer will be responsible for configuring and implementing the M365stack to the Department. The engineer will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the Agency's critical Azure and M365 environments,ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
•Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of the DVA Azure and M365environments.
•Perform user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management in M365.
•Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
•Implement and maintain security best practices for both Azure and M365.
•Provide technical support to users.
•Document configurations and procedures for future reference.
Skills and Knowledge:
1.Minimum 3 + years knowledge and experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and the applicable Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment,and/or Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Microsoft 365product suite or similar digital transformation projects in a complex ICT Environment.
2.Minimum 3 + year’s experience and knowledge in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery.
Location: This role can be based in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA and VIC.
Contract term: Contract till June 2025 with 2 x 12 month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.and hold a hold a NV1 security clearance.
