Microsoft 365 Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Microsoft 365 Engineer for an initial 12 month contract working with a Federal Government client.

Contract Start date: Wednesday, 01 May 2024
Contract Length: 12 month contract
Eligible for extension: yes (maximum 2 years with potential for permanent)
Office Location: Canberra & Sydney
Security Clearance: Eligible to obtain and maintain AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) by the contract start date
About the role:
The M365 Engineer will take on the task of setting up and deploying the M365 suite for this Federal Government client. This individual will be crucial in overseeing and sustaining the Agency's essential Azure and M365 ecosystems, with a focus on maximizing performance, securing the environment, and enhancing the user experience. The successful candidate will oversee and uphold the daily management of the Azure and M365 platforms. Execute user onboarding, offboarding, and manage access within M365. Proactively monitor system health and resolve problems. Enforce and uphold security protocols for Azure and M365. Offer technical assistance to users. Record setup details and processes for subsequent use.
