About the opportunity:
The M365 Engineer will be responsible for configuring and implementing the M365 stack to a federal government agency. You will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining critical Azure and M365 environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
Primary Technologies:
Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Applications Packager, Rapid 7, Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer.
Duties:
• Perform user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management in M365.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for both Azure and M365.
• Provide technical support to users.
• Document configurations and procedures for future reference.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated the following:
• Minimum 3 + years knowledge and experience implementing the Essential Eight and Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment.
• Implementing the Microsoft 365 product suite or similar digital transformation projects in a complex ICT Environment.
• Minimum 3 + years’ experience and knowledge in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects, managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery.
Desirable:
• Experience collaborating with Microsoft support or other vendors for escalations and assistance with critical problems.
• Strong understanding of security concepts and how to implement them across server and end user environments.
• Strong scripting and infrastructure automation background.
