About the role
Nederman is seeking a dedicated team player to join our team as a Mid-Level Sales Engineer. This role will play a critical role in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships. As a key member of the sales team, the Mid-Level Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities:
- Increase the sales of all company products by possessing in-depth product knowledge and building strong relationships with current and potential clients.
- Build strong working partnerships by regularly visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote products.
- Identify appropriate prospects and leads, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all product categories offered.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure a deep understanding of product capabilities and features.
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Contribute to the development of the sales strategy, including coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Contribute to the development of pricing schedules for quotes.
- Negotiating contracts and quotes with potential clients, taking into consideration required profit margin.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Respond to client queries, requests or complaints in a prompt and professional manner (with a resolution focus).
- Embody the culture of open and honest communication, collaboration and support that is aligned with company values and expected behaviours.
- All other tasks as reasonably directed by the manager.
About you:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
