AddressEaton Mobility Group provides solutions across the propulsion spectrum to cater for the evolving needs of its customers from internal combustion to electrified vehicles. We offer a suite of technologies, including power distribution solutions, power electronics and transmissions that improve safety, efficiency, and performance. The principal markets for the Mobility Group are original equipment manufacturers of on- and off-highway vehicles and aftermarket customers.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to maintain key accounts and drive business development at OEM’s across the on- and off-highway markets. The ideal candidate will have successfully managed OEM accounts, extracted new opportunities with existing clients, developed new business at new clients, and introduced new products to market. Experience across multiple markets will be an advantage.
Key Duties
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure deep connections whilst delivering the Eaton Value Proposition
- Achieve annual sales and profitability targets
- Promote Eaton products at trade shows, industry & customer events, and face to face sales visits
- Provide and maintain comprehensive business intelligence of the client’s environment and the markets in which they operate
- Provide inputs to the SIOP process.
- Sustain customer and market presence through consistent face to face visits.
**Please note that this role requires intra and interstate travel approx. 10 to 15%**
Qualifications
- Strong track record of developing networks and sales success
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and planning skills
- Strategic mindset
- Valid Australian driver’s license
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mech or Elec) or Science (preferred but not mandatory)
