Mines Rescue Consultant
About the role:
As a Mines Rescue Consultant with Coal Services’ Mines Regulation and Compliance team, you will provide specialised emergency and safety management expertise and consulting services to the Australian and international mining sectors.
Maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients is a must, as is the development of new clients both here and overseas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing solutions for clients, primarily in the areas of crisis, emergency, and safety management systems
- Conducting audits and reviews of mine safety management systems, and associated hazards and controls
- Developing the supporting systems and processes that support the provision of Mines Rescue Consulting services
- Presenting business solutions to existing and potential clients
About you:
Your education, experience and skills will include:
- Mining, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Manager qualifications
- Significant experience in Mining Engineering
- Operational mining experience at a senior level
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage diverse groups of stakeholders and articulate and navigate complex matters effectively
- Proven track record of building relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities and service provision enhancements
