About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Mining Supervisor - Draglines to join our team at Curragh North. Reporting directly to the Dragline Coordinator, this pivotal role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities aimed at optimizing safety, operational efficiency and productivity. This role be working a 7/7 roster.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to the Safety and Health Management System (SHMS), reinforcing its importance through regular communication and training sessions.
- Work closely with dragline engineers to craft detailed production plans, emphasizing the need for collaboration between departments to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Monitor operations closely to maintain consistency and adherence to established standards, implementing corrective measures promptly when needed.
- Pre-plan dragline walks proactively, coordinating with stakeholders for seamless execution and minimal disruptions.
- Foster team development through mentorship and coaching, providing constructive feedback and support for individual growth.
- Manage performance and attendance transparently, ensuring operational efficiency and fair treatment of team members.
- Lead by example, providing clear guidance and fostering a positive work environment built on trust and accountability.
- Contribute to forward planning, offering valuable insights to optimize resource allocation and meet production targets.
