The Role- Review current Modern Workplace environment, recommend core actions to improve and automate where possible.
- Work with client services manager to implement templated tasks to maintain and monitor environments using our ITSM application (ConnectWise Manage).
- Mentor junior Modern Workplace Engineers where required for best practice actions.
- Implement additional external monitoring and alerting through RMS tools, Automate and Logic Monitor.
- Uplift of environment to ensure fits in with ACSC Essential 8 up to Maturity level 2.
- Implementation of Azure sentinel alongside Managed Security Operations Center, including the rollout of syslog for centralised logging.
- Implementation of Azure-based solutions, including Entra ID, Role Based Access Control and Privileged Identity management.
- Configure Intune to manage mobile devices and apps using Microsoft Intune, ensuring secure access to company data.
- Configuration of Cisco Meraki based networks and secure connectivity to Azure.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and maintain a secure, productive Modern Workplace.
- Implementation of a global unified file system across Asia and Australia.
- Possible Travel to Indonesia and Malaysia if required.
- Ensure documentation is relevant for the client and support services.
About You- Proven experience with Microsoft Defender Security, Azure Sentinel, Intune, and Azure services.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and security principles.
- Previous experience working towards Essential 8 Maturity levels in an Modern workplace environment (Intune).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Workplace, Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are highly desirable.
