At just over an hour's drive east of Melbourne, West Gippsland; the alpine majesty of the Baw Baw Plateau to the lush valleys, flowing streams and rivers, epicure food and wine and boutique shops, to the sandy beaches of south Gippsland.
Qualifications & experience:
• We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and professional couple or single with a good track record in customer relations.
• It’s a small 15 room motel offering a hands-on live in roll and will require the applicant to some of the housekeeping.
• Experience with update 24/7 and online channels would be amazing (this is not essential; training will be provided).
• Applicants with experience in the hospitality industry will be heavily considered if they can demonstrate that they possess the necessary skills to carry out the job and are willing to learn.

- Efficiency and ability to work to budgets.
• Ability to ensure the property (both rooms and surrounds) are maintained to a high level.
- Impeccable detail for cleanliness and understanding of guest expectations for comfort.
- Commitment to WHS, privacy and ethical workplace practices
• Ability to work as part of a team and lead staff by example.
• Ability to work closely with the managing directors and communicate with them on a regular basis.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, staff, and suppliers.
Duties:
• Day to day management and operation of the property in a hands-on capacity reception, laundry, housekeeping and grounds.
• Ensuring compliance according to guidelines with occupational health and safety
regulations.
• General administration, processing of invoices to the account’s office
• Training of staff
• Exceeding guest expectations
• Managing all customer inquiries and bookings through online booking agents and by telephone, email, and walk-in customers.
• Maintaining a “Star Rating” at the current level and booking reviews rating at 8+
• Handling of cash and Eftpos sales.
• Maintain sale records and rollovers for the day.
• Fabulous customer service & people management
• Be on call to attend to issues after hours.
