Motor Mechanic

Bridgestone Select Doreen is looking for a Motor Mechanic to maintain our customers cars in a busy fast paced workshop, you will be responsible for the diagnoses and repairs of a variety of makes and models of our loyal customers vehicles.

Liaising with the Service Manager 

Bridgestone Select Doreen has expanded its operations, therefore there is  opportunity for  future progression.

Your duties will include: 

Performing general mechanical diagnosis, repairs, service and maintenance on a wide variety of light vehicles and models  

(tyre fitting and puncture repairs are not required as we have a separate workshop to service this)

Road Testing

To be successful in this role you will require:

Qualifications and experience as a Motor Mechanic.

Capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable resolutions

Attention to detail

Ability to work unsupervised

Ability to take direction and be part of a larger team

Excellent work ethic and ability to strive for goals

A current unrestricted drivers licence

Road Worthy Licence and Air Conditioning Licence an advantage

Skills and Experience:

Valid Australian drivers licence

Previous experience working in light vehicles

Ability to operate diagnostic tools

Reliable and punctual

Effective time management and attention to detail
