The role
Part of the Technical Training Team, responsible for the delivery of technical requirements of the assessing team to ensure that we develop market-leading cost capabilities in the design & application of Repair Methods, and ensure successful achievement of the company’s corporate goals.
It is also the purpose of this role to carry out monthly AQA reviews and use the findings to develop our assessing teams through mentoring, coaching, and shadowing.
- To coach and develop Auto and General’s assessing teams in the application of consistent and correctly applied Repair Methods whilst providing excellent service for our customers & balancing the needs of our business.
- Being a business SME in all the software & quoting systems e.g. AudaNet whilst applying all of Auto and Generals assessing processes.
- Conduct the completion of accurate AQAs monthly. Also, be able to identify business risk areas from the AQA findings and address the risk areas with State & Assessing Managers.
- Providing detailed reporting to the Assessing Team and leading/ driving action planning with the State teams, including supporting Assessors to develop or reach minimum performance standards.
- Design, develop and deliver assessor training nationally in accordance to the business requirements from Induction through to advanced technical & soft skill training, including Code & State based legislative considerations.
- To drive the correct repair method, providing insight internally via data/ AQA & externally through Market Best Practice.
- To champion a culture of leadership excellence & changeability.
What experience you’ll bring
- Minimum 5 years in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the motor body repair industry including the relationship between the insurance industry and the repair sector.
- Trade qualified as either a spray painter, panel beater or Mechanic.
- Experienced in quoting accident damaged vehicles
- Exceptional customer service insight and delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer & quote package literate
- Strong planning and organisational ability
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Training background “CertIV in Assessment and Training” is highly regarded.
