You will be a part of the Mine Safety Technology (MST) team's who provide technical support and emergency response to the coal mining industry with state-of-the-art mine gas monitoring systems.
- By maintaining the MST Team's record management system, responding to correspondence, monitoring deadlines, prioritising, and following up task progress, promptly, tactfully and with appropriate confidentiality.
- Organising and coordinating of purchasing and procurement as required.
- Interfacing and liaising with clients, internal and external stakeholders either by telephone or face-to-face to facilitate the efficient and effective administration of day-to-day operations of the work unit.
- Managing staff competency records for Simtars Mine Emergency Response.
- Co-ordinating travel requirements including flight bookings, accommodation, car hire and travel claims.
- Assisting in the preparation of correspondence, quotations, tender documents, presentations, and technical reports.
- Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may be considered for other vacancies (identical or similar).
- Appointments are subject to criminal history checks in accordance with section 52 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
