The Opportunity:We are looking for a Process Engineer to join the Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MS&T) team in Parkville (Australia). This team’s mission is to be an integrated and valued partner to the manufacture of influenza vaccine and Products of National Significance (PNS), to achieve operational excellence.The MS&T function provides strategic technical direction to manufacturing organisations to achieve supply targets and maximise capacity. You’ll provide technical expertise related to the process, equipment, and business systems that drive strategic improvements within Bulk Manufacturing and/or Fill-Finish. This role is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract. The Role:Reporting to the MS&T Manager Technical Services, you will work with stakeholders across several different functions. As a Process Engineer, you will: Provide support to manufacturing by solving technical and operational equipment/process issues in the manufacturing facility, including assisting with investigations related to product and/or processHelp develop manufacturing documentation including procedures, batch records, training materials and specificationsMaintain knowledge on the relationship between the process, the equipment, and the automation in the facility. Ensure that equipment works to its specification and capacity.Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvement projects to improve yield, reliability, process robustness, and safety.Provide leadership within assigned area by tracking project statuses, and analysing measurements and other metrics and observed trends;Communicate with important support teams including maintenance, engineering, and quality and third parties to implement and update preventative maintenance plans and support implementation of new equipment and processes Skills Required:A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or ScienceExperience in engineering, quality, validation, or related areas in a manufacturing environmentDirect experience with regulatory requirements and clean room environmentsAn understanding of end-to-end manufacturing, engineering, equipment, and automation principles and able to apply this knowledgeMechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical equipment Apply now to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing business in a role that is integral in meeting the needs of patients in Australia and internationally!
