The Role:
We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Operations Manager who is a Qualified Butcher to join our team. We look for independent, passionate, hardworking team players that can also think on their feet and be adaptable. The hired candidate will need to assist the team in the daily upkeep and running of the shops under management, as well as getting hands on with helping out with prepping the display cabinets, slicing, prepping, breaking whole bodies, and also providing over the counter customer service and advice.
The successful applicant will:
- Be available Full-time and willing to work on weekends if required.
- Be able and willing to travel to all the different shops under management.
- We would require experience in all aspects of butchery, attention to detail and be well presented.
- Have excellent financial acumen of how butcher shops operate and what it takes to make a butcher shop operate successfully and profitably.
- As a Qualified Butcher, you will also need to have completed at minimum the Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher).
- Have amazing customer service and be a proactive team player.
- Be punctual and a general all-rounder.
- Be able to legally work in Australia.
- Have excellent English communication skills.
