MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Retail Contract Management
- Lead and manage large scale contracts.
- Develop and maintain strategies to increase the value and efficiency of retail contracts.
Day to Day Operations
- Handle basic electricity tasks including billing, accounts management, reporting, and liaising with meter providers.
- Ensuring smooth day to day operations of electricity retail services.
Energy Trading and PPA experience
- Utilise the Power Purchase Agreement to optimise contract agreements and structures.
Market Modelling
- Conduct energy market modelling to forecast trends, pricing and patterns that develop due to demand.
Procurement and negotiation:
- Manage energy procurement activities, including sourcing energy supply and negotiating contracts with energy suppliers.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, support and further development opportunities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified or appropriate business-related qualifications are preferred.
- Knowledge or experience with the National Electricity Market (NEM) is desirable.
- Customer operations or customer experience in the Energy Retailer industry.
- Demonstrable experience in performing data and business process analysis, preferably in the Energy Retailer industry.
- Pricing Planning/Speaking with DNSP or Brokering Electricity Prices.
