Multinational Account Executive

Sydney, Australia

A technical operations role, this is an opportunity to become an expert in the field of Multinational Insurance. Duties include the end-to-end servicing of multinational insurance placements, both locally and internationally placed. The role is Sydney based.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the Corporate Property Line of Business in all matters Multinational.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of systems and processes and keep abreast of new guidelines.
  • Proactively engage with Underwriters to ensure an efficient transfer of key information in order to instruct and manage our placements around the world.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders in multiple time zones.
  • Work collaboratively with the offshore teams who provide processing and credit control services.
  • Ensure timely implementation of our insurance programs, i.e. ensure related data is complete and accurate to instruct local policy details.
  • Accountable for correct financial bookings in processing systems by support teams.
  • Keep track of implementation progress and liaise with local staff to resolve queries.
  • At request of Underwriting, ensure timely and high-quality implementation of mid-term endorsements, issuance of certificates of insurance and focus on premium collection monitoring (according to the processing rules and guidelines, incl. system data entries).
  • Address requests originating from client/broker immediately and refer to Underwriters.
  • Ensure data quality accuracy ratios at the defined level/metrics.

 You will report to the Team Lead – Multinational Solutions Team- Sydney, Australia.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • To be a successful candidate, strong insurance industry experience is required, with Property experience valued but not essential. Previous experience in Multinational insurance would be highly valued.
  • This is a technical role that also requires strong soft skills, and a customer service approach, so the candidate must be able to work in a data and deadline-driven environment and be able to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement outlook, a willingness to ask questions and explore new ideas is highly valued.
  • Must be happy to work autonomously and enjoy collaborating with team members, often in a virtual environment.
  • Understands the importance of why and getting the little detail’s right.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel.
