The Role
Leading independent girls school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, presents an opportunity for a Music Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis.  Reporting to the Directors of Music, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative assistance to enable the smooth running of the Music Department. 

You will make an impact by:

• Supporting the Directors of Music in coordinating the School’s Music programs and events, including Music Concerts, House Music, School Productions, Music Scholarship auditions and Music, Speech & Drama examinations
• Providing high level administrative support and assistance to the Directors of Music, including diary management 
• Managing the use of the Music Department’s rooms and teaching spaces 
• Acting as the primary interface for all current and prospective parents and Music Tutors, regarding the School’s Private Tuition program
• Preparing and coordinating Music Camp, excursions and incursions
• Managing and maintaining the inventory of music equipment, instruments and resources and coordinating the repairs and hiring of instruments

To be successful in this role…
An experienced Administrator, you have the ability to read music and have a strong understanding of musical genres and scores. You have excellent interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, outstanding organisation and planning and display initiative.  Others describe you as friendly, professional and team orientated.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to read music and understanding of musical genres and scores.
• Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office 
• Current Working with Children Check 
• Current Criminal Record Check
