ProVision Eyecare is a National Member-based organisation dedicated to providing 440 independent Optometry practices with the commercial support needed to operate a small business that offers vision correction and eye health services to their local communities.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, this role requires a collaborative strategic approach with Leadership Team peers to ensure strategic objectives, project deliverables and key core requirements are achieved in line with best business outcomes.
The position is also charged with the mindful leadership of the National Retail Operations team, who collectively make meaningful contributions to the ongoing viability of ProVision member practices.
Regular Management reports on network performance, presentations to Members/Suppliers/Directors, and the ongoing development of new revenue growth is integral to the success of the role, with interstate travel required. Other key responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Develop initiatives to retain and grow member numbers and member sales
- Strengthen Retail Operations team through ongoing coaching and development
- Increase member engagement with ProVision systems and services
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company strategies, initiatives, and desired outcomes
- Explore ways to diversify and grow ProVision company revenue streams
- Collaborate with the wider Leadership team on projects and initiatives that help strengthen independent optometrists in a highly-competitive market
- Optimise CRM system engagement and other data intelligence systems to strengthen decision-making across the Retail Operations team and the Leadership team
What we are looking for:
Reporting to the CEO, this exciting opportunity requires a capable leader with high emotional intelligence (EI) and the ability to increase business engagement across all key stakeholders. The following attributes and abilities will be well regarded:
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills (oral and written)
- A proven history of commercial engagement and effective relationship building with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically and operationally, and drive the implementation of key business initiatives
- Financial acumen including a solid understanding of budgeting, cash flow and Profit and Loss statements.
- Outstanding organisational and project management skills, with a high attention to detail
- Knowledge and expertise of the retail market, particularly those factors that contribute to sustainable success
- Innovative and achievement-oriented mindset that values continuous improvement
- An in-depth knowledge of the optical industry or health sector would be highly regarded for this role but not essential.
