Address The National Facilities Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction for facility management planning, operations, policy and service delivery. Key Accountabilities
Develop and lead a strategic framework and plan for the delivery of hard and soft services facility management across the business sites incorporating a new service delivery model for facility management operations
Drive and oversee the performance of the facility management operations including maintenance services, environmental and sustainability programs, safety, business risk and and continuity management strategies
Develop and implement agreed performance goals, standards and KPI's to inform capital and operational budgets
Develop reporting and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of facility management operations and asset management
Act as the primary escalation point for urgent, complex or highly sensitive operational issues, determining appropriate responses and the need for further escalation
Oversee the project management of national minor workplace reconfigurations
Support the national development of the Property Strategy and lease renewal process, including the drafting of associated business cases
Key Requirements
Significant experience in a facilities management and people leadership role for a complex, matrixed organisation
Demonstrated expertise in contemporary facilities management practices, facilities operations, contracts management, health and safety practices in the workplace and in associated corporate communications
Demonstrated experience in the development and management of project budgets, cost modelling and in assessing and managing contracts of work
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships internally and externally with clients, intermediaries and service providers
Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communicartion tools
Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of statutory legislation pertaining to facilities operations and in Workcover legislation
