The National HSEQ Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining HSEQ policies, procedures, compliance, and programs across all company operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of HSEQ regulations and best practices. The National HSEQ Manager will work closely with senior management, site managers, and employees to foster a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following;
- Management of all HSEQ systems
- Lead and manage direct reports
- Lead for ISO audits including all preparation and closing out of audit items
- Lead for all incident investigations
- Lead for all injury management & Workcover claims
- Ensuring adherence to specification and standards of quality, safety and environment
- Driving best practice in HSEQ
- Relevant qualification in WH&S and knowledge of relevant ISO accreditation
- Previous leadership experience in HSEQ is essential
- Construction industry experience is desired
- MS Office computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
