We are currently seeking aNational Key Account ManagerThis role can be based in either NSW or Victoria.

The Role 

As the National Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with our most significant national accounts in the construction and agricultural sectors. You will play a critical role in achieving sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving long-term business growth by developing tailored solutions that meet their strategic needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers within national accounts. Understand the business needs and challenges of these accounts and work closely with them to tailor solutions that enhance their operational efficiency and profitability
  • Strategic Business Development: Identify and target potential new clients in the construction and agricultural sectors. Develop and implement strategic plans to secure and grow major accounts.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets for assigned Key Accounts by promoting a range of construction and agricultural equipment. Utilise in-depth product knowledge and market trends to effectively address customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead the coordination and delivery of high-level customer service and support. Ensure that all account issues are resolved promptly. Conduct regular review meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify further business opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the OEM, Sales, customer service, Reginal Managers, Marketing, and product development teams to align strategies and optimise the overall customer experience. Share market insights and customer feedback to aid in product improvements and innovation.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide accurate forecasts and detailed reports on account status, sales results, and market conditions. Analyse data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Industry Presence: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and expand networking opportunities.

You will need:

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the construction and agricultural markets and the technologies impacting these industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous sales experience in either the agriculture and or the construction industry.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications, including making presentations and sales tools.
  • Willing to travel as required.
  • Enthusiastic, resilient with a can-do attitude.
  • Time Management.
  • Planning & organising.
