We are currently seeking a dynamic and resourceful professional to join our team in Schramm Australia in the role of National Parts and Service Manager. This role is fundamental for supporting Schramm Australia's further development and growth in the market.
Your primary objectives will be to oversee and lead a team of service and sales professionals to deliver high-quality services and support to customers. This role involves managing day-to-day and overseeing service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing service delivery processes.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead a customer focused culture with high focus on safety
- Ensure delivering the highest quality service and support to customers
- Monitor and manage service operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
- Work in conjunction with procurement to source, account for and manage service operations
- Ensure process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Identify areas for service improvement and develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Prepare and manage the service department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial goals.
- Ensure adequate resources are available to support operations Work actively towards standardization of workshops
- Technician utilization - ensure increased flexibility and agility
- Increase customer share across the regions in conjunction with the sales teams
- Lead service optimization through focused objectives and projects
- Future looking capability development: ensuring our capabilities meet our needs
- Support development of suitable training activities to assist in the development of the Service Team
- Warranty process adherence
- Country wide structure and agility
- Maximise monthly NIS generation
- Collaboration between departments to ensure an increased market and customer share
- Collaborate with Epiroc Production companies to support local requirements
- Work in consultation with customers to identify and deliver innovative solutions to their operational needs, including consideration of research and development.
- Develop and maintain, in conjunction with the sales team, the territory management and sales execution strategy
- Develop and maintain the most efficient sales structure to ensure key accounts are managed, contracts are retained and new business opportunities are secured
- Work actively with the sales team to ensure the volume forecast input is completed on time and accurately
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or engineering
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a service management role or related fields
- Knowledge of service management tools, customer service principles, and local labor laws
- Effective communication, leadership, sales, and organizational skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Supporting a team approach with natural leadership acumen
- A positive attitude, firmly believing that there is always a better way
