Chapter One is a boutique early learning service offering a nature-based learning environment with a focus on nurturing children through play and creating meaningful moments each day.

Our Willagee service is opening soon and we are building a team of heroes to deliver fantastic experiences to our enthusiastic waitlist of children and families. 

We are a local family-owned service who’s supportive & passionate providers have plans to grow our locations across Perth in the near future.

Our new Service Manager

This is an exciting full time opportunity for a dynamic, passionate and confident leader to join us in writing the story for our newly refurbished 47 place Willagee service due to open August 2024.

Prior to opening, we will draw on your expertise and enthusiasm to work with our management team in setting up the service, systems, staff and processes required in preparation for a new service.

Once the service is open, your full time role will involve:

  • Being an advocate for all children and educators, ensuring the rights of children and child protection is foremost.
  • Leading our team of passionate educators, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Assisting educators on the floor to maintain appropriate ratios, steering practices, and providing mentorship.
  • Managing day-to-day service operations to ensure the provision of high-quality education and care.
  • Ensuring service compliance with the EYLF and NQS.
  • Being the Nominated Supervisor for the service.
  • Staff rostering, ratio management, timesheet review and approval.
  • Conducting parent tours, managing enrolments and waitlists.

Our management team will be hands-on, actively supporting and building your role to grow a successful service. 

Your story will need:

  • A passion to build a successful, nurturing and high quality service for staff and families alike.
  • Experience leading teams to success in an Early Learning Childcare setting.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, resilience, and exceptional communication skills
  • Administrative skills, including effective time management and ideally experience with OWNA software.
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)

Plus our pre-requisites of:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood & Care or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
  • A current (WA) Working with Children Check
  • National Criminal History Check within the last six (6) months.
  • First Aid in an Education and Care Setting.
