This role may involve occasional interstate and overseas travel.
More specifically, some of your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
Managing product across the business, from requirement analysis and procurement to disposal;
Overseeing and managing stock/resource levels and allocation between business branches;
Managing direct import purchases to ensure quality, timely and cost effective product delivery;
Formulating, implementing and evaluating relevant policies, processes, systems and budgets;
Working alongside and advising the National Stock Control Team;

Performing regular audits and evaluations, as well as compiling reports.
To be considered, you will require experience in a procurement management role, ideally within a medium-sized enterprise. You'll have experience in inventory systems management, and have the ability to perform stock forecasts and establish sound purchasing processes with a focus on ROI. While not mandatory, candidates with formal qualifications in logistics and/or inventory management will be highly regarded, as will those with professional memberships with a relevant professional body, such as APICS.
You'll have high-level communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring your ability to lead successful supplier negotiations on behalf of Semco Equipment Sales. These skills will also ensure your ability to build strong relationships with key suppliers as well as engage internal stakeholders. You'll consider yourself an organised, analytical individual and effectively prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met.
A high level of attention to detail is critical to your success in this position, as is an intermediate level of computer literacy. Specifically, candidates should be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite and ERP software systems.
