About the opportunity:
Reporting to the national plant nutrition manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Identify, develop and successfully implement strategies that will improve the relationship, market position and perception of Nutrien Ag Solutions in the market
- Negotiate profitable and improved trading arrangements with key suppliers
- Manage opportunities in the proprietary segment
- Ensure data files are correctly maintained, including pricing, rebates and margins.
- Identify, develop and successfully implement strategies that will work towards continuous improvement
- Management risk associated with domestic & international commodity markets.
- Provide senior executives with timely reports detailing key business indicators performance.
What you will bring:
- Experience & understanding of the specialty fertiliser market from sourcing through to field application
- Proven inventory management
- Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Well-developed strategic and analytical skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Provide the highest level of customer service to clients at all touch points
- Tertiary qualifications is Ag Science or similar desirable, but not mandatory
