Workforce Solutions is the learning, training and resourcing arm of the publicly listed Engenco Limited (ASX:EGN). Within Workforce Solutions, the Centre for Excellence in Rail Training (CERT) and Eureka 4WD & Truck Training are our Registered Training Organisations which provide responsive, flexible and innovative training, assessment and recertification services to the Australian rail and other heavy industries. About the Role

We are currently seeking a strategic, proactive and proven National Quality Manager that can lead the design, implementation, management and maintenance of our Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Frameworks (QMF) utilised by Workforce Solutions (WFS).

The role forms part of the Workforce Solutions Leadership team and is a critical and pivotal pillar in the execution and delivery of high-level strategic initiatives of the business. Specifically, this role is accountable for ensuring CERT and Eureka adhere to all relevant obligations as an RTO, along with ensuring the ongoing application of the QMS/QMF.

This role can be based in our Head Office in Melbourne, Queensland, or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key relationships and service agreements ensuring quality, competency and performance and output of roles across the RTO.
  • Manage and maintain a business continuous improvement process and plan that ensures the ongoing improvement of the RTO performance.
  • Alignment and management of state and federal contracts including standards for VET Registration to the QMS.
  • Ensure both industry and VET legislation requirements are adhered to and practiced with regard to the application of nationally accredited training programs.
  • The management and maintenance of professional development requirements across all roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide support and advice on vocational education and training (VET)-related compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Oversee the validation, moderation and currency requirements of current and future training materials.
  • Establish and maintain industry connections to ensure currency of learning programs and products.
  • Lead and support operational teams to translate RTO quality and compliance obligations to deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to provide insights to Quality performance requirements.
  • Manage and maintain and Quality Calendar to support effective planning and delivery of ongoing quality and compliance obligations.

Key Skills

To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following skills and experiences:

  • High-level interpersonal communication and negotiation skills through both verbal and written communication to internal and external clients, with particular experience in negotiations with regulatory authorities.
  • Strong and successful experience within the VET sector, with Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. Education, Capability Development etc.) considered highly advantageous.
  • Detailed understanding of industry training packages and associated accrediting and regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of nationally accredited training programs and management of VET sector personnel.
