The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the National Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of the Sales strategic plan and customer engagement agenda for the Closures business in Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:- Play a key role in furthering a customer led focus/mindset while leading the Value+ agenda
- Developing the Sales Strategic Plan, retaining volume and optimising value from Orora's manufacturing assets via customer retention and optimisation
- Lead the key account management process for priority customers
- Participate in the S&OP process by leading the collaborative customer forecast process with a forensic approach to demand analysis
- Identify and respond to customer needs
- Monitor and analyse market trends within particular customer segments and sales performance
- Sales excellence and team capability development
- Manage overall business portfolio to maximise division revenues and profitability, as well as monitor and report on critical KPI's
- Proactively collaborating with the wider Orora sales teams
- Lead the contract renewal process and RFP process for key customers
- Develop multiple senior level relationships with customers from CEO level down
Successful candidates will:
- Have 10+ years sales experience, preferably within a B2B and/or FMCG environment.
- Have strong negotiation skills
- Possess a tertiary business qualification or similar higher education
- Have previous experience in managing and leading high performing sales teams
- Demonstrate experience in developing procurements/buying relationships at multiple levels of an organisation
