Role Overview: Sidewood Estate is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our sales strategies and drive growth across national markets. This role is pivotal in overseeing all sales and distribution aspects, aiming for revenue growth, market expansion, and increased brand prominence. You will have the unique opportunity to lead a talented team of sales and marketing professionals, setting strategic directions and fostering an environment of success and achievement.
Location: Based in Oakbank, within the scenic Adelaide Hills, this role requires national travel to effectively fulfill its responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Devise and implement comprehensive sales strategies across on and off-premise channels to exceed sales targets and expand brand awareness.
- Lead and empower the sales team, establishing clear objectives and supporting them in achieving set goals.
- Maintain and grow key accounts, ensuring sales targets are met and relationships are nurtured.
- Conduct in-depth market research and sales analysis to uncover growth opportunities and align product development.
- Spearhead promotional activities, manage pricing strategies, and engage customers to enhance sales efficiency and brand loyalty.
- Represent Sidewood Estate at industry events, engaging in brand education and fostering strong client relationships.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Individuals with a creative mindset and a deep passion for the wine industry, supported by a minimum WSET L2 qualification or equivalent.
- A background of at least 5 years in wine sales, marketing, or brand management, with a proven track record of financial acumen and budget management.
- Experience in on and off-premise sales, including dealings with national chains, independent retailers, and banner groups.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the skill to inspire and guide a diverse team towards achieving excellence.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive individuals who thrive under pressure and are committed to delivering outstanding results.
- Proficiency in analytical tools, CRM, and MS Office suite is essential.
- Must possess a current driver's license, passport, and the ability to travel both nationally and internationally.
