With a focus on developing long term mutually beneficial service capabilities with Key Clients, they now seek a National Service Manager, that can also grow Services Sales. They have established themselves as premium manufacturer of Asphalt Plants Globally and boast a strong level of success with clients like Fulton Hogan, Boral and Downer to name a few. With a defined plan for developing new service capabilities and go to market strategies, we are now seeking a Professional for the Head Office, North of Brisbane with the motivation to deliver new ideas and manage a team.
THE ROLE
The challenge within this role lies in ensuring the National Service Technicians are hitting utilisation targets, while providing your Tech’s training, guidance, support and leadership. You will hold responsibility for client engagement, devising new ways of packaging up services for clients and securing maintenance agreements. Ideally you will enjoy the challenge of bringing a sales and customer service proactive nature to the entire team.
Key Objectives:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with technicians, co-workers, supervisors, clients and the general public.
- Assist the development of pricing strategies for the Services and Training courses within the framework provided by the business and budget plan to ensure regional revenue and margin objectives are achieved.
- Report Monthly on progress of Service Technicians and utilisation, job allocation and forecasting and ensure agreed objectives and set budgets are met.
- Initiate and develop relationships with key decision makers within all customers in the Region through frequent contact and communication.
- Operate to Health and Safety policies on site and in the workshop.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
Ideally you will have proven Service Technician Leadership experience, which will include working with regionally located staff. A focus on generating sales out of existing clients is required as this role will be split 60% Service Manager and 40% Territory Manager. You will be an experienced technical professional in either heavy industry, quarries, mineral processing equipment or associated solutions, while displaying the ability to contribute to the direction and growth strategy of the National Management team. Ideally you will have some further business studies and the capability to understand relative business costs associated with employees, turnover and margins.
