About you
You are a Process or Chemical engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in a production environment, preferably in the hazardous industry. Ideally you will have experience working with acid materials, either waste or production. You have extensive project experience and can identify when a project is missing components to underpin success. You have a strong understanding of the relationship between hazard and risk and can convert an investigation into prioritised actions. It is advantageous if you have advanced root cause analysis training or experience with FMEA analysis etc. You understand mechanical processes, including human machine interfaces. Experience in industrial design would be highly beneficial. You are highly organised, have high energy, and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth and multi-site environment. You are down to earth, humble, and possess a natural ability to build strong and lasting relationships.
About the role
This is an exciting and newly created opportunity to provide technical support across multiple sites in Melbourne and South Australia. You will oversee multiple projects across your region, ensuring third parties appropriately deliver the scope of works and implementing any corrections to ensure successful outcomes. You will be involved in developing commercial business cases for work you are doing, then seeing through to execution. You will contribute to significant improvements to processing facilities, capital projects, Safety culture, project compliance and overall business success.
This role involves some travel, mostly across Melbourne, with some in South Australia.
