Our team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced NDIS Operations and Growth Coordinator to help us shape the future of disability accommodation services.

Role Description:

This is a hybrid, full time role for an NDIS Operations and Growth Coordinator located in Ridgehaven, SA, with flexibility for some remote work. The NDIS Operations and Growth Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining successful disability support services in local communities, as well as building stronger relationships with clients through outreach and engagement.

As an NDIS Operations and Growth Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's growth and success. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position offers tremendous potential for professional development and the opportunity to lead in expanding our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connecting with potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry expos/ events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Action referrals in a timely manner
  • Support the NDIS participant to assess a number of mainstreams, community, informal and provider options.
  • Select preferred options and provide information relating to those enquiries.
  • Negotiate services to be provided.
  • Develop service agreements and create service bookings.
  • Arrange for any documentation required to determine the nature and type of funding required (e.g., assessment to determine the type of complex home modifications required)
  • Determine the budget for each support type and advise any relevant plan manager of the breakdown of funds.
  • Liaise with case managers to complete the transition to the services.
  • Follow up in a timely manner, any complaints, problems, or issues that arise.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of customers, their families or caregivers, and the organization
  • Effective networking internally and externally to assist individuals achieve their desired personal outcomes.
  • Manage any perceived or real conflict of interest in accordance with the NDIA’s Terms of Business
  • Enhance company practice and reputation through continuous improvement, business development, and innovation.
  • Maintain regular correspondence such as emails, telephonic conversations, social media, etc. with potential clients and support coordinators.
  • Maintain and record data base and documents as per company's software/ digital platforms.
  • Maintain and record database of marketing materials. Order and precure as required.

Qualifications & experience

  • Proven experience in NDIS Operations and Growth strategy development.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the disability care service industry, with knowledge of NDIS rules, regulations, and guidelines specific to the Australian market.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of NDIS policies and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality services and making a positive impact in the disability accommodation sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, clients, and co-workers.
  • Commitment to upholding company values for culturally informed, ethical, and high-quality care services.
  • Knowledge of public, private, and hybrid disability care service delivery programs in the Australian market is a plus.
  • Ability to deduce data and information from a variety of sources and present it in a clear manner to participants.
  • Flexible and able to work effectively within a changing environment.
  • Current Police and Working with Children Checks and not a prohibited person in relation to the NDIS Worker Screening Database.
