BLUE IRIS SUPPORT SERVICES is a family owned and operated, leading NDIS support provider, specialising in complex mental health care, with offices in Ipswich, Toowoomba and Morayfield, dealing with participants across the state.

As a Registered NDIS Provider, BLUE IRIS SUPPORT SERVICES pride themselves on looking after our teams, and our participants, and ensuring they make the most out of their NDIS funded Plans!

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated full-time Support Manager to manage a team of Disability Support Workers within our Supported Independent Living & Community based clients within Toowoomba and surrounding areas.

THE ROLE:

The Support Manager ensures that our Disability Support Workers engage with our participants to help them get the most out of life! To achieve this, you:

  • Are a competent leader, with exceptional people management skills
  • A service orientated mindset, where our people always come first
  • Results driven, and a problem solver
  • Have a great track record of achieving success for your participants
  • Can collaborate with others, although has the ability to be autonomous when required
  • Possess past experience within the NDIS Disability sector, and have a yellow card, blue card, First Aid & CPR certificates, clean driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to build and maintain trusting and meaningful relationships with all stakeholders
  • Able to assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating plans that enable our clients to set and achieve personal goals
  • Facilitate community inclusion and participation and supporting our clients to establish and maintain relationships and interests through access to community activities, venues, and services
  • Excellent understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines
  • Sound administrative and IT skills
  • Availability to travel within Toowoomba, and SEQ as required
