As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated full-time Support Manager to manage a team of Disability Support Workers within our Supported Independent Living & Community based clients within Toowoomba and surrounding areas.
THE ROLE:
The Support Manager ensures that our Disability Support Workers engage with our participants to help them get the most out of life! To achieve this, you:
- Are a competent leader, with exceptional people management skills
- A service orientated mindset, where our people always come first
- Results driven, and a problem solver
- Have a great track record of achieving success for your participants
- Can collaborate with others, although has the ability to be autonomous when required
- Possess past experience within the NDIS Disability sector, and have a yellow card, blue card, First Aid & CPR certificates, clean driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to build and maintain trusting and meaningful relationships with all stakeholders
- Able to assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating plans that enable our clients to set and achieve personal goals
- Facilitate community inclusion and participation and supporting our clients to establish and maintain relationships and interests through access to community activities, venues, and services
- Excellent understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines
- Sound administrative and IT skills
- Availability to travel within Toowoomba, and SEQ as required
