As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated full-time Support Manager to train our amazing Support Workers in specialist care for our participants. As a Support Manager you will be based in Morayfield, however travel within SEQ will be required.
The Role:
As a upport Manager, you will be an integral part of the Support Management team. You will be responsible to train Support Workers on various procedures as required, ensure compliance, whilst maintaining strict adherence to BLUE IRIS policies and procedures, all NDIS guidelines, and ensure best practice at all times.
You will manage a caseload of participants and lead their Support Workers. You will be passionate about building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in order to build capability and confidence for all participants in accordance with their Support Plan.
Essential Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Relevant Qualifications
- Knowledge of the NDIS space (preferably psychosocial disabilities) and experience as a Support Manager, leading and mentoring Support Workers
- Must hold NDIS Worker Clearance, Blue Card, First Aid & CPR Certificates and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Excellent understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines
- Have sound administrative and IT skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Have reliable transportation and hold an open licence
- Must be resilient, patient, empathetic, and an excellent problem-solver; respectful and culturally sensitive – and basically – be a good human!
