Network Engineer

SAPIT Australia Pty Ltd is an Australian IT Solutions and Consulting company offering a range of Integrated solutions to the Corporate and Enterprise Marketplace. We have partnered with Managed Service Providers in Australia to find their next Level 2 Technical Support Engineer (Network Engineer) to join their growing team. The position involves providing IT Support to healthcare providers as well as other industries in providing effective solutions to challenging technical problems and architectural designs.

SAPIT Australia Pty Ltd requires senior Network Systems Engineers to focus on design, integration, and support of complex systems over their life cycles.

Ideal candidates will have a strong engineering background in managed services with a passion for network security and have experience in rolling out new network technology, managing network switching and routing service requests and support regular maintenance tasks and deploy continuous network improvements.

The position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to travel and wants to escape the laborious hours in the office and loves working in IT. The position requires a strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and security concepts.

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology and 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer with an Enterprise Company (healthcare preferred)

Strong understanding of traditional network technologies, Route/Switch Cisco Routers, Catalyst Switches, Nexus

Respond to escalated technical issues and provide timely and effective resolution.

Troubleshoot and diagnose complex networking, switching, and firewall problems Cisco ACI

Strong understanding of routing protocols – BGP, OSPF & EIGRP

Communicate technical solutions to customers in a clear and understandable manner.

Collaborate with customers to understand their network requirements and provide tailored solutions.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and support.

CCNA or CCNP is preferred.
