SalaryMy client is an Australian based Telco company. They have been growing significantly over the last 4-5 years and are continuing to expand their presence across Australia.
The role will be a mixture of 50% Projects and 50% BAU/operations with great opportunity to develop your career. The main tech focused will be on the company's carrier network so previous experience with ISP/Telco networking is essential. You will be working with a very skilled and close-knit team, learning from some very experienced engineers.
This is a great opportunity for a Level 2 Engineer to join a company with excellent support for career progression.
The main requirements:
- 1-3 years experience supporting ISP Networks
- Experience with Layer 2 /3 Routing & Switching - preferably with Juniper
- Experience in a support environment, supporting IP, MPLS, Data Networks
- Experience supporting NextGen Firewalls - ideally Fortigate
- Excellent attitude and communication skills
- Certifications with Cisco and/or Juniper is highly regarded
The role is based in Melbourne with the team going in 4 days a week.
