OVERALL POSITION OBJECTIVE

Network Engineer with 8+ Years of experience in the Networking specifically with Service Provider, Good knowledge on the Service Provider environment, Networks and process. Good understanding on the Backhaul networks/Transmission equipment should have experience on Migrations.This person would thrive on challenges in a high paced environment, has a passion for Networks.

In addition, we’re after someone with good technical knowledge of MRV Make Devices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as be a team player.Experince with the Global Service provider is preferred.

In this role, you will be:

• Work on Live Networking environment at client base. 
• Configure the port configurations on the switches terminating at customer premises (Cisco IOS & ASR). 
• Provide Flexible and robust services through VPLS and pseudo-wire technology in Telstra core networks by configuration, testing and troubleshooting of MRV Comm Switches, Cisco ASR9K & MSE-8890 Routers. 
• Provide best solutions and be a point of escalation for the team. 
• Responsible for delivery of wholesale or Retail Service within given time. 
• Should meet all KPIs in terms of productivity, Quality and process compliances. 
• Work with team and manager to improve Productivity and Quality. 
• Deliver cost effective design solutions.
• Should meet all KPIs in terms of productivity, Quality and process compliances.
• Work with team and manager to improve Productivity and Quality.
• Produce Designs to support weekly/monthly targets.

Key Skills:, Skills and Experience 

• Bachelor of Engineering Graduation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Deliver excellent cost effective designs
• Exposure in the Telstra network arena 
• Proficient in MS suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Capability of working autonomously and in teams collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Strong time management skills
