Our Brisbane office is currently seeking a highly experience and committed contract Network Engineer with experience within the mining and/or resources sector.
Key Duties/Responsibilities of the position:
Extensive experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on network security and Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Professional certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks products, including firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and WildFire.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability management, and secure remote access.
Proficient in network troubleshooting and analysis tools, such as Wireshark and tcp dump.
Hands-on experience in migrating from Cisco to Palo Alto systems on OT networks.
Skills & experience required for the position:
Minimum 4 years of applicable experience is desirable
Minimum CCNP certified.
Engineering qualification or suitable experience required
