About the job:
- HNEkidsRehab provides a medically led, multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitative care for children, young people and families residing within the northern child health network. Clinics are held in Newcastle, with home and school visits conducted as required. This position may include attending outreach clinics to Tamworth and Taree.
- This position includes working predominantly within the Paediatric Brain Injury Team and providing input to other service streams within HNEkidsRehab as required. Neuropsychology assessments and interventions are conducted according to client needs and identified goals, including a collaborative approach to input with other team members.
- Working within HNEkidsRehab allows the opportunity for support as part of the collaborative team around the child and family.
- Opportunities for ongoing professional development and clinical supervision is encouraged and supported.
- As part of this role within HNEkidsRehab the successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic, specialised, multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate clinical psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent, displayed on the Psychology Board of Australia website.
- Eligibility to drive in NSW and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances.
- Motivated and collaborative team member to assist with rehabilitative care for clients attending HNEkidsRehab to join our team.
