About the RoleAs the New Energy & Renewables Connections Specialist, you will support the Customer Connections functions across our customer, industry, and internal and external stakeholder groups. The position plays a critical role within Customer Connections in the New Energy & Renewables (NE&R) Team, supporting growth in renewable energy and contributing to industry initiatives and changes. The role delivers operational support for complex solar connections. Initially the role has a strong focus on facilitating and improving major customer-initiated CT Metering requests, Emergency Backstop Mechanism connection requirements for systems >200kva, and supporting the successful implementation and scale-up of flexible exports for residential customers.The role will deliver core functions resulting in good customer experience for complex connections, but will also contribute to continued business improvements in this fast-paced area – ideally suited to someone with a keen interest in solar and with an analytical approach to their work. Experience working with, for, or as a solar installer or retailer is favorable. This role will report to the Team Leader, New Energy & Renewables and is located at Southbank, Victoria.
