About our Ngunnawal Centre
Edge Early Learning Ngunnawal, provides day care and preschool programs tailored to children from 6 weeks to school age. Our dedicated team of qualified educators deliver our educational program with an inquiry-based approach that enables children to ask questions and explore new ideas and discover new interests through play. At Edge Ngunnawal, we are connected to the culture of our First Nations People and enjoy exploring our beautiful native surroundings on Ngunnawal Land.
Are you our next Edge Lead Educator?
As an Lead Educator, you will:
- Lead a team of Educators whilst focusing on individual development and mentoring in the education, care and supervision of each child
- An ability to work collaboratively with fellow Educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs.
- Create a friendly, secure, and stimulating interactive learning environment.
- Nurture and develop our team members so they confidently contribute to our children’s learning.
- Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and community stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with EYLF and NQS are met or exceeded
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or 'actively working towards'
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card
- Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID004) Certificate
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
- Prior experience as an Educator is required
