Qualifications & Experience:
Are you an accomplished culinary artist with a passion for leading from the front? We are seeking a Night Head Chef who meets the following criteria:
- A proven track record of at least 5 years as a Head Chef, showcasing your culinary skills and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in kitchen management, with a knack for delegating tasks and overseeing progress.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities that inspire and motivate your team.
- Up-to-date with current culinary trends and adept at optimising kitchen processes.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
As our Night Head Chef, you'll be leading our night service, and will be responsible for:
- Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
- Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
- Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
- Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
- Arrange for repairs when necessary
- Remedy any problems or defects
- Be fully in charge of managing and training kitchen night staff
- Oversee the work of subordinates
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
- You will have the responsibility of all night kitchen stock ordering and prep.
- You will have the responsibility of keeping other kitchen staff in line, making sure all paperwork, cleaning and stock rotations regarding the kitchen is done by either yourself or other kitchen staff. However it will be your responsibility to have these tasks completed at the end of the night.
- You will implement policies and procedures to ensure staff work in a fast and efficient manner with yourself and your team, during both slow and busy periods.
- Must communicate clearly and respectfully with Owners/ Management/Head Chef.
