The Night Manager:
- provides supervision of the Night Auditors & oversees front office operations
- is responsible for the daily reporting of accurate hotel figures
- ensures that all work from the day has been checked for accuracy in line with the hotel standards.
- Prepare reports to reflect the trading result of the property on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety and control after hour’s access to the property
- Deliver personalised service that exceeds not only the expectation of the guests but will add a point of difference from the service provided anywhere else
- Key point of contact for all guest needs & issues
- Championing the Discovery 2.0 program, and managing enrolments
- Driving WHS safety within the hotel, including first aid, and performing the Chief Fire Warden role when on duty
- Effectively communicating with all other departments including maintaining the daily reports, and driving the morning operation briefings for the hotel
Ideally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience with Opera (training provided)
- 2 -3 years in an Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager, Guest Service supervisor and/or Night Auditor role in a 4-5 star Hotel
- Strong Hotel WHS experience
- A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
- First Aid certificate
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- A guest service focus and enjoy leading a team
