What are you:
Penny for Pound is currently seeking a driven and experienced Wholesale Night Operations Manager to help us deliver an exceptional customer experience to our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Night Operations, including but not limited to staffing, training, process improvement, and ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfilment. The Wholesale Night Operations Manager will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- People Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement among the Night Operations team.
- Team Rostering & Availability Management
- Hiring & Onboarding new staff member, including managing trial shifts, setting culture expectations & providing necessary training
Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement efficient packing & delivery processes that prioritise quality and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and quality control measures during the packing process.
- Monitoring Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs
Profitability Management:
- Manage labor budgeting for rostering and logistics to ensure cost-effective staffing levels while meeting operational demands.
- Hitting quarterly KPI’s for Labour Budgets & Quality Control Measurements
About You:
- Experience in Hospitality Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Outstanding communication skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including kitchen staff, account managers, and delivery partners, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Rostering System
- Night Time availability is a must, as this is a Night Operations position
