TRS Resourcing has been asked to source and screen experienced Extruder Operators for our client, a global manufacturer of polyurethane-based materials, acrylic coatings and synthetic turf products for sporting and recreational applications

Our client is based in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs and requires multiple machine operators for a full-time permanent position. The extrusion plant operates on 4 days on and 4 days off. The Night Shift times are 7 pm to 7 am.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven capability to operate a range of specific machinery to produce synthetic yarns at or exceeding standard rates with experience in manufacturing a variety of synthetic yarns to an acceptable quality standard.
• To flag yarn faults and advise the Factory Manager
• Experience in heating/cooling processes 
• To carry out duties under the policies and procedures
• To accurately complete Production Order documentation and Quality process control tests documentation according to defined procedures
• To participate in continuous improvement activities to improve safety, product quality, efficiencies & production output

To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:

• Educated to Year 10 level or three (3) years experience in manufacturing operations
• Reference contact details of two past employers
• Based already in Melbourne Victoria
• Have the right to work in Australia
• Vaccinated
